. Must know.
Travel to Delhi for cons still restricted – embargo extended due to heavy
loads. Any employees wishing to fly standby to Delhi are asked to please
delay their travel plans a little longer as we are experiencing extremely
heavy flight loads and payload restrictions. As a result, all space
available personal travel is embargoed until Nov. 16. Thank you for your
understanding.

An Employee Travel change preview for 2004 - payment options reduced.
In 2004, the Employee Travel program will undergo a few changes. One of the
changes involves simplifying employee travel service payments. Starting
Jan. 15, 2004, all employee travel service charges can only be paid with a
valid credit card. The payroll deduction process will no longer be
possible. This change in the method of payment is a cost-savings initiative
that will allow the company to offer all active and retired employees a
more efficient and streamlined payment process. Stay tuned for more
communications regarding changes to the Employee Travel program for 2004.

In NetLetter nr 794 we again mentioned that Interlining Plus will waive
the us$20.00 administration fee if you are a Pionair - we received this
from Jim Morgan -
A few days ago I had arranged a cruise booking thru Interliningplus and
was not aware that they would waive the $20 booking fee for Pionairs. When
I called them back they immediately said they would re-imburse the fee and
they apologised that they had forgotten to ask if I was a Pionair at the
time of booking. Just wanted to thank you for your timely advice and for
saving me $20. Incidentally they explained that this only applies to the
Employee and not the spouse. Thks again and keep up the good work. Regards
Jim Morgan

. Smilie.
Ten Commandments of flying!
A pilot who inspecteth not his aircraft gives angels cause to concern the
pilot.
Thou shalt not become airborne without first ascertaining the level of thy
propellant.
Let infinite discretion govern thy movement near the ground, for thy area
of destruction is vast.
Thy engine RPM is thy staff of life. Without it, thou shall surely perish.
Thou shall not let thy confidence exceed thy ability, for broad is thy path
of destruction.
The pilot that doeth an approach and alloweth the wind to turn behind them
shall surely make restitution.
Thou shall maintain thy speed between ten and four hundred feet, lest the
earth rise up and smite thee.
Thou shall not make a trial of thy centre of gravity, lest you dash thy
foot against a stone.
He who allows his tail to catch in the thorns, curseth his children and his
childrens children.
Thou shall not fly unless thou have a type certification for thy craft!
