. Need to know.
The following information provided by Employee Travel & Recognition -
The process to be followed is explained below.

Message re ID/Travel Cards for all former Canadian Airlines employees to expire
May 31st. The Employee Travel & Recognition team is pleased that nearly all
ID/travel cards for this specific group of employees have now been issued to
those who have already sent in their photo. Any active former Canadian employee
who has not, to date, sent in their photo must do so ASAP as the deadline for
travelling on their present card (white or blue CP cards) is May 31, 2002.
These employees were notified by letter on April 15th and the process was
explained therein as follows:
·       Provide a recent black & white or coloured passport picture to be
affixed with glue or scotch tape (DO NOT STAPLE) to enclosed form
·       Provide employee name and employee number in space provided on enclosed
form
·       Return the form and photo to address on letter: Employee Travel &
Recognition, Air Canada Centre, P.O. Box 14,000, Zip 1245, Dorval, QC H4Y 1H4,
or
·       Come in person to our offices in either Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver,
with the enclosed completed form and have your photo taken. Offices are open on
Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the following locations:
- Montreal: 7373 Cote Vertu West, Building 2, Suite 204-054, St-Laurent;
Toronto: 3111 Convair Drive, 2nd Floor, Mississauga and
Vancouver: 6001 McConachie Way, 3rd Floor, Richmond, BC
·       Information is also available by calling toll free 1-800-665-2560.
·       If employee has misplaced the April 15th letter and enclosed form,
please send above information and photo using a plain sheet of paper and
address it to Employee Travel & Recognition.
·       All requests must be received by Wednesday, May 15th, 2002, at the
latest.
·       Please ensure that this message is passed to your fellow retirees so
that no one is forgotten and unable to travel after May 31st.

Message for Canadian Airlines retirees: A number of Canadian Airlines retirees
were sent the same letter and will also be affected on May 31st if we have not
received their photo and pertinent information. Please pass on the message to
any retiree you may be in contact with.

Message for those employees whose ID card is expiring in June 2002: The renewal
process is in the works and the Employee Travel & Recognition team will keep
you informed as we progress with the new cards.

Some retirees have not provided their new address to AC. Some of the letters we
sent April 15th were returned to us as undeliverable. Anyone who has moved
should advise Air Canada and, in the immediate, Employee Travel & Recognition
at address above. We need their photo and information requested below to be
sent to us ASAP. If a traveller is not in possession of his/her new ID card, as
of June 1st they will not be able to travel.
