. Found on the internet.
SAME TUNE, 'NOTHER AIRLINE:
It seems that Carl Icahn is just not going
to be happy until he has another bankrupt airline to play with.  The
financier, fresh off his failed attempt to take over Trans World
Airlines, reportedly now has his eye on National Airlines.  The Las
Vegas-based carrier has been in bankruptcy proceedings since December.
Roulette, anyone?

. Smilie.
Sent to us by Bill Maclaren -  a retired BA employee who served 40 years with the airline
and has been retired for 23 years.  Back in the 1980's we had a BA 747 arrive
at our JFK terminal with over 400 passengers and I'll let you guestimate the
number of pieces of baggage on board.  One of the first male passengers
entering the customs area asked the attending Passenger Officer if there was
a restroom in the customs area.  The traffic officer confirmed "Yes there
was" and showed the passenger to the restroom.  Ten minutes later the
traffic officer was puzzled to see the passenger emerge from the restroom
carrying a bag.  He was even more puzzled when the passenger said " That is
the quickest I have ever had my bag delivered to me.  I was standing in the
restroom when suddenly two ceiling tiles fell to the floor and my bag dropped
at my feet!  The baggage conveyor belt (which has 4 feet sidewalls) passes
over the restroom area on its way from ramp side to the carousel in the
arrivals area.  The baggage had become wedged over the men's washroom and
this particular passenger"s bag had climber to the top of the baggage jam up,
toppled over the 4ft walls knocking out two ceiling tiles and conveniently
dropping at his feet.  At that time BOAC had the slogan "BOAC takes good care
of you!" and the passenger commented  that the airline was "Living up to it's
slogan"  That was "one for Ripley"
The foregoing is from my talk "Anecdotes from 50 years in Civil Aviation" which
I have given to church groups and retired mens' clubs
