We have created this new section called the "Audio Archives" which is made possible by the work of Phil Pawsey. Phil started taping Audio Biographies of people involved with aviation (mostly pilots) several years ago while using a Ham radio. He was on a network with several pilots and fellows from other departments as well.
Phil asked three basic questions hoping that it would prompt them to relate other experiences and they did not let him down.
The questions were;
- When, where and type of aircraft did they have their first aircraft ride.
- When where, and type of aircraft did they complete their first solo flight.
- Where, when did they make their first two way radio contact.
