In NetLetter #1400 we mentioned plans for the launch of Canada's first Indigenous women-owned airline to launch out of YVR. Iskwew Air officially began service on March 9, 2019 coinciding with International Women's Day. The word 'Iskwew' means 'woman' in the Cree language.
