Drone Delivery Canada (DDC), with the assistance of its sales agent, Air Canada Cargo, has entered into a commercial agreement with Vision Profile Extrusions to use drone technology for deliveries between two of Vision’s properties in Vaughan, Ontario. The defined flight routes have been approved by Transport Canada and will make use of DDC’s DroneSpot takeoff and landing zones, as well the Sparrow cargo drone with a capacity of up to 10 pounds. Deliveries by drone will begin later this year and be remotely monitored at DDC’s new commercial operations centre, also located in Vaughan. |
