Editor's note by Wayne: The trip from Vancouver to Victoria, British Columbia takes approximately 15 minutes, gate to gate (less than 10 minutes flying) with a great demonstration of the term 'Beautiful British Columbia'. The screen capture below shows the south side of Sea Island, as the aircraft banks right, with the 'Flying Beaver' restaurant and seaplane terminal below. Across the Fraser River is the 'Terra Cotta Viewpoint' where I have spent many hours cycling while watching aircraft lift off on runway 26L, as well as seaplanes arriving and departing. |
