On a recent Air Canada flight 798 from Los Angeles, Vanessa, a 14 year old unaccompanied realized, just as she was boarding, that she had left her wallet and CD player in the lounge, and went back to retrieve them and became somewhat distraught at not finding them. The purser, Jean Bissette, on hearing of her plight, made an announcement over the pa system, as, sometime, passengers do find left articles and bring them on board. However, nothing came of that request.
