After consulting by radio with an A&P on the ground, Strahan passed the cup and got three greens. SHORT FINAL... Did you hear about the Pilot in charge who carried around a supply of pencils that he handed out with the aircraft log book that were inscribed with: "This is not a wrench!" OVERHEARD IN THE AIRPORT LOUNGE: I was checking in at the gate, when the airport employee asked, "Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?" I said, "If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?" He smiled and nodded knowingly, "That's why we ask." ~-=o0o=-~ . More of those smiles - On an Ansett flight from Sydney as we approached Perth the usual announcement was made about weather, hire cars, baggage retreival and we were asked to remain seated after landing while the seatbelt light was on. We landed and soon afterwards everyone stood up and started gathering belongings. As we approached the terminal the intercom crackled into life with the announcement: "You were told to remain seated while the seatbelt light was on. You're all very naughty. Now we're taking you back to Sydney to do it again." An airliner takes off from Newark airport, the pilot announces, thanks for flying with us...etc. we'll be cruising at 35,000 ft... etc. Then, thinking the mike was off, he says to the co-pilot. "I'm going to go to the bathroom, then I'm gonna nail that new flight attendant." The mike was on, and everyone on-board heard. One of the flight attendants is aghast at hearing this and rushes forward to shut the pilot up. An old lady says to her, "No need to run, Dearie, he has to visit the bathroom first." . That's it for this time, please we need your input, send comments and email addresses of any others who may be interested to Vesta with a copy to Terry. -!- Landing on an Island in the Pacific. _____(~)_____ ! ! !
