Your Navigator has returned! The group from the London England Pionairs who visited Calgary on their 'Alberta Adventure' numbered 37, complemented by 5 from Toronto and 2 from Vancouver Island. Unfortunately, Tuesday was spent visiting Banff in a blinding snowstorm which dumped a foot of snow on the ground, but the group had a good time in the school bus hired for transport. The evening was spent at an indoor BBQ, which got riotous and rowdy with great sing alongs and a spell at line dancing. Wednesday was planned at the outdoor Heritage Park, but the visit was cancelled due the weather, but the group was quite happy to traipse around the shopping malls. The main group headed home that evening. Kudos to Jack and Aureen Morath (LHR) and Lorrette Blencoe (YYZ) for all the arrangements, and we look forward to next years 'Adventure', now in its 5th year with visits to YOW, YQB, YEG, Niagara Falls, and Nice France. ~-=o0o=-~ .
