Dear 'Between Yourselves Netletter' readers;

It was just months ago on March 19,1998 that Terry and I published our
Netletter nr #250.
At that time the membership was 253. Now it's at 457.
A gigantic increase of over 200. We must confess that we gained 102 formerly
underground listings ex Dorval when Frank Pedder retired.
They were receiving copies anyway.
Terry and I have brought you 50 new issues of Between Yourselves Netletter
even with R&R off for the month of June, so that's an approximate average
of 2 issues a week.
Which is very remarkable don't you think, for just the two of us, and no
pay! While every one else is cutting back, and to quote Terry recently, we
just keep going and going.
Thanks as well, to all our contributors.
A special applause to the following:  (in no special order)
William Norberg, Don Demeza, Alan Rust, Tom Grant, Bill Willows,
George Brien, Doug Davidson, Ron Munson, Ron Vigars,
Charles Mackie, Al Blackwood, Russ Reynard, Tom Martin, Bob Robbins,
Fraser Muir, Brian Dunn, Ken Day etc. and most of the District
Directors for copies of their newsletters.

Here are some of the accolades that Terry and I have received recently.

a wonderful method of keeping in touch. Phil Pawsey.
7/15/98

involved.  Andrew Wallace

in making Between Yourselves such a success; it's the talk of our
Association--it has become nothing short of a Blessing to many retirees;

with the Netletter. John Hayes
5/24/98
Keep up the great work and hope to see you at Nanaimo luncheon.
Regards, Saville Hambleton
5/22/98
You were well represented at the AGM - Ron Vigars did you both proud - your
inserts were in all envelopes - examples of your NetLetters were available
and you're front and center in the Travel Guide.   Don Demeza
5/21/98
I believe you and Vesta are doing a Bang - Up Job with this Netletter.
Let me advise you that many , many Others, feel the same way. Your Efforts,
were publicly mentioned several times throughout the course of the Event.
(AGM98)
I am on watch for Airline Stories and Jokes continually. I have sent out
some feelers, to others ( Non Airline Types ) for their watch also.
June  &  Gord  Dalziel
5/14/98
I really enjoyed yesterday's issue for several reasons. Bill Norberg's
story of the Vanguards rang great bells for me.
Wonderful airplane to ride in, as long as you were in the rear end. However
their "on time" performance was another story for some time. Tough for our
maintenance and airport staffs.Cheers!    Bob Robbins.  (YOW)
5/13/98
My hat is off to you both for providing such a great service.
Bob and Betty Anderson.
5/13/98
Thanks again to you and Vesta for your continuing great work.
Bob Robbins
4/20/98
This is just a little memo to say thank you for showing the WACA events in
your newsletter. I am glad to be on the receiving end of your bulletin even
though I am not yet a "Pioneer" but the time is quickly approaching as the
years are going by like a flash now compared to the past. Once again on
behalf of all the Interline Clubs worldwide thanks for your efforts to let
the "Pionairs" know about the Interline Club's events.
Steve McMahon      Regional Vice President-North America
World Airlines Clubs Association (WACA)

Vesta & Terry's Netletters are great and do reconnect many retirees.
Cheers Tom Martin.
3/25/98
Many thanks for the NetLetters 251 and 252. I happened to send an e-mail to
Don Demeza, whom I have not seen since he retired, and he steered me in
your direction. I think this is great and with the spread of e- mail is
bound to blossom. All the Pionairs will be grateful for your efforts.
Hey, it could become a full-time job!
Doug Davidson
3/16/98
Congratulations on the NetLetter, which seems to have caught on in a big
way with A/C people across Canada and beyond. A great way to keep in touch.
Regards,   Gene Brown.
