ILFC CHOOSES A318 OVER 717
Lessor company International Lease Finance Corp. (ILFC) has
signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus for up to 30
A318 aircraft, possibly dealing a fatal blow to Boeing's 717-200.
ILFC was initially leaning toward the 717 but was prompted by
Boeing's production delays to consider alternatives.
ILFC's decision to choose Airbus over Boeing may force the US
aircraft manufacturer to end the marketing of the 717-200 aircraft.

Project Mgr. Special Assignments. Worked in C@SS and Personnel.
In 1977 moved to CHI as Res. Mgr. Retired 1983 and moved to San Diego.

Hi folks: Heathrow connections:
Was connecting last week from Terminal 3 to Terminal 4. You can take the
new Heathrow Express. It goes Paddington - Heathrow Central - Terminal 4
and v.v. LHR Central to and from T4 is free. Train goes every fifteen
minutes so the maximum you can take is fifteen minutes plus a five minute
ride. The bus around the outside used to take at least 40 minutes. Don't
know if the bus is still running but I could not see any signs for it.

flight attendant unions. The unions want the end of a two-tier salary
