. NOW READ THIS!
Hello Everyone;
So that there is no mistake on proxy votes by Air Canada shareholders,
please inform your local membership that the Horizons Hot Line is
recommending the Onex proxy form (the pink sheet) be....THROWN OUT....Only
the Air Canada proxy (the green sheet)should be completed and returned.
Proper completion of the Air Canada proxy means the boxes (2) on the left
under Airco must be marked...AGAINST....with the boxes on the right (4)
under Air Canada must be marked....FOR....The form must be signed, dated and
sent to the return address. (Watch the DEADLINE date).
If you wish a fax copy of a properly completed Air Canada proxy please
email a fax number SAP.
Regards, Saville Hambleton - President Pionairs.

From Horizons Daily -
We've only received 50% of employee shareholders' proxy/voting cards.
The November 7 deadline is approaching. As the November 8 Shareholders'
meeting approaches, it's imperative that you stand up and be counted.
A second mailing with a reminder letter, additional proxy/voting
card, and return envelope is on its way to you and to Personnel Services
offices across the system.
Please take the time to complete, sign, and return the green proxy/voting
card. Fax the completed forms to (514) 876-2502.
If you support Air Canada, don't do anything with the pink proxy card
sent by Onex.

Mae Watson sends this urgent notice -
The following may already be known to you, but f.y.i...
I just received shocking information (to me, at least) from a concerned
active employee at Toronto Airport.  All employees' voice mail contains a
message that only 4,000 of a total of 130,000 employee shareholders have
returned their proxies.  Can one assume that these figures include retired
employees?
Saville Hambleton's message may act as a reminder to those Pionairs who
haven't mailed their proxies.

. During a recent tour of the Boeing plant in Everett, Washington,
we were told that Boeing has instituted a scheme which provides financial
assistance to its employees wishing to take lessons for a pilots license.
The present test pilot is a female who was originally employed as a
secretary/typist and said she would like to become a test pilot.
Her dream was fulfilled.

. Found on the internet.
At Southwest Airlines, which took off in June 1971 and for which the fun
- and profits - have never stopped, the pay cheques are signed
'From our customers'.
The Personnel Office is named 'The People Department'.

.   Alan MacLeod sends another update on CF-TCC -
The Lockheed has been stored for the winter. It finished flying on the
25th of September at St. Andrews, Manitoba. The Winnipeg flying club
hosted a 75th anniversary celebration that weekend and Tango Charlie
Charlie was there.
Tango Charlie Charlie flew four flights there that day in support of the
DREAMS TAKE FLIGHT. The flights were full and apparently there was an
eager "wait list". Capt. Reid and Captain Norberg did the honors. When
the day was finished the aircraft went back to Winnipeg and went into
the hangar for some grooming and scheduled maintenance. From there
it was a tow over to the Western Canada Aviation Museum and "home at
last".
TCC flew 156 hrs and 18 mins this season. She carried one thousand three
hundred and twenty nine passengers between April 22th and September
25th. Only one day of scheduled flying had to be canceled due to
uncooperative weather. This was in St. John where fog frustrated her
attempts throughout the day. There was one "delayed" flight in July for
a mechanical. This was the only delay all year.
Now how's that for performance !!
Congratulations to all who maintained and supported our operation. This
was the most successful year I can recall for the DREAMS FLIGHT,
especially from a standpoint of interested people coming out to see and
visit the aircraft.
