. Alan MacLeod has sent an update to the CF-TCC saga -
Just a short note to say TCC is back in the museum now and having a
rest for the winter.
When we were in Calgary with TCC we parked at gate 14 there for about
half an hour. This to drop off Ted Dodds,a TCC pilot, so as to catch his
flight back to Toronto. While there the interest in the aircraft by the
ramp personnel of all operators was phenomenal. The ramp came to a
standstill!!  Also in the passenger departure lounge the passengers
became so engrossed in the aircraft they crowded around the windows for
a closer look. They were very impressed, I was told, that Air Canada
still maintains the aircraft and operates it for the DREAMS program.
Great PR.                This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

NEW KEYBOARD MAY HELP PREVENT TYPING INJURIES
Most ergonomic keyboards take a standard keyboard and change the shape
and tilt to make it more comfortable for users. But a new set of
controls, developed in Florida has taken things one step further ,
eliminating keys entirely.

. Smilie.
A DOG'S LIFE NOT THAT BAD AFTER ALL:
Well, we all suspected it, but now we know.  Dogs traveling on a commercial
airliner are a lot more comfy than the rest of us sitting up there in coach --
or even first class.
Guidelines mandate that a dog must be able to stretch out and turn around in
comfort, requiring containers twice the width of the dog.  No such generous
regulation exists for mere humans.  In fact, the minimum requirement is 26 inches
from the back of your seat to the seatback bumping into your knees -- and that's
before the jerk in front of you slams his seat into a full recline.
